Meet the Founder
John Moates is the Founder of SHCC Brands, a franchise development firm with more than 25 years of experience in restaurant operations, business development, and franchising. He specializes in helping emerging restaurant and beverage brands scale through strategic franchise development, market expansion, and multi-unit growth.
Previously, John spent 10 years with Fransmart, helping grow brands including The Halal Guys, Freshii, Rise Southern Biscuits & Righteous Chicken, and Brooklyn Dumpling Shop. As a former restaurant founder himself, John brings firsthand operational experience to his work, helping founders build strong franchise systems designed for sustainable, long-term growth.
